BIZARRE Day

So. Today. Wow.

Sleep- Beautiful time of day. I slept for 9 hours, got up at noon. Yes, that means I got home at 3am. That's what happens when you hang out in Provo till 2:30.

Got up today, got dressed, and got my windshield replaced. I sat for 40 minutes in a dirty waiting room, and they charged me twice what I was told it would cost. Up side? I got to laugh to myself at the girl behind the counter when she called her boyfriend and told him she wanted to go buy a hamster tonight. I also *THINK* I saw someone from high school while I was there. If it was him, he'd put on about 50 pounds, and I didn't want to go up and ask. Yeah, that'd be awkward "Hey Cameron! Oh wait... not you...." or "Hey Cameron! I almost didn't recognize you... you look.... different...."

After that I got my car's safety and emissions inspection, as well as got it registered. I apparently wasn't supposed to get it registered, because the car's still in my dad's name... so... when he signs it over, I get to fork out ANOTHER 50 bucks to register it under my name. *sigh* I guess it's just all part of the adventure, right?

Later that night, I played with my niece and nephew for a bit until..... *ding dong* My mom comes walking in laughing saying there's a delivery for me on the front porch. I go out there, and some kid (that i DON'T know) is tied up on my front porch, with tape over his mouth. It took a minute to convince my mom that we didn't know him, and that it wasn't funny to get the camera. I helped untie him, and gave him a ride to a house in the neighborhood over. He told me that these kids had picked him up, put him in the trunk, tied him up, and dropped him off on my front porch. So... I got home, called the police to report what happened. While they were on their way to my house, this car full of kids pulls up. They asked if I've seen their friend. They fed me some bogus story about how "their friends" that did it watched; I told them that we took the kid somewhere, and they wanted to know where he was. I gave them some vague direction, and laughed when they went the wrong direction at the end of my street.

When the police got to my house, I gave them instructions as to how to get to the place I dropped the kid off. They called me back later, and turns out it was just some stupid prank. Not really a big deal. haha I actually think it's kinda funny... but I'm hoping the kids don't freak and try to come TP my house or something. Honestly, if the kid had told me in the car that it was a joke and he knew the kids... I woulda busted up laughing and thought it was hilarious! Anyone that knows me is well aware that I LOVE a good prank! I've been known to pull off some good ones in my time. I think pranking is AWESOME, as long as it's done right. Unfortunately for this kid, he kept to his story about it being a crime... so he got a little talk with the po-po tonight. :) Ah, well.

Also- I learned something new today. The media moniters the police frequencies. Apparently the officers got a few calls from some media stations wondering if there had been a kidnapping. Yes!

Talk about your bizarre days.
