Sometimes you get 'em. Sometimes you don't.
Sometimes you get 'em, and you don't know you're getting 'em till it's too late.
Kinda like the time when the thought "you should back up all of your pictures and videos from your phone" for about two weeks straight. And I kept saying "as soon as I get my new laptop, I will."
And then my phone died and I lost everything.
So, unless a miracle happens (which is highly unlikely, seeing as I ignored promptings for 2 weeks, that pretty much eliminates miraculous blessings from my list of expected gifts) I will have no pictures for you of our Ghana date, or all of the work we did on our sprinklers that I was saving til we were done.
I know this is a small drop in the ocean of the blogosphere, but I'm entirely kerfuffled.
Moral of the story:
1. If you have the same weird 'you should do this' thought multiple times over a couple of weeks, you should probably get your butt in gear.
2. Don't be like me and ignore your entire technological upbringing. I knew better than to keep 1000 pictures on a phone with no backup. Don't be like me.
I am sorry you lost all of your pictures :(
