Uncle Nicky

That right there ^ is my favorite. Our nephew started calling the hubsters Uncle Nicky... and it just kinda stuck.

Sadly, I think he's old enough now that he won't call him Uncle Nicky anymore, but I'll still remember it forever. I'll probably resort to secret coaching with future nieces and nephews to keep it alive.

So here's an update on our Dear Uncle Nicky:

We are so grateful for the job that he has. They're in the middle of launching 4G systems out here, so for weeks he's been in and out planning meetings and training meetings, meetings, meetings, and more meetings.

He's also been doing his job, and learning new things every day. He even gave a tour of the switch to the local scout troop one night.


He's been on call for 2 weeks in a row, and now their launch day has finally come! He's been gone all day doing support, and I am just so proud of him for handling everything he does!

He handles all the stress of work, then comes home to help deal with everything going on at the house. He is so busy all the time, I'm so glad the holidays are coming up so he can have a break!

I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband that works so hard to better himself and to provide for us. Truly, he's the best. :)
