Alright. Since we last spoke, a few things have happened. The biggest one would probably be that I withdrew for the semester. I discovered that I was way too far behind with all the work and tests that there was no way I could get my grades up high enough to keep my scholarship. Instead, I put my scholarship on hold for a semesters, and took some time off. This means i suddenly have a lot of time on my hands! I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with this, but we'll find out.
Justin is going through a really hard time right now, and I have no idea how to be the support he needs. I'm trying to figure out what I can do to help, but it seems like every time I come up with something that might make him feel better, it instead stresses him out even more. I'm not really sure how to approach this one. I guess time will tell what's up.
The Polar Bear Plunge was today. Basically, I got 121 people to sign waivers stating that they understand doing this is stupid, but they're going to do it anyway and not sue Glenwood if something bad happens. They then went around to the end of the OUTDOOR swimming pool, jumped in, and swam down the entire length and back. If they made it, they got a free t-shirt (college students seem to have a distinct fascination with free t-shirts. I don't really understand it, but whatever!) and jumped into the hot tub. It was a night of complete madness, but ha! Life is good. I quite enjoyed my job, but I also think life is better when you mix in a little chaos every now and then!
I am currently jamming to the Maroon 5 album, Songs About Jane. If you haven't heard it, check it out. It's pretty much fantastic. :)
