Progress is Progess

We've driven past that empty lot so many times... it was SO EXCITING to drive by and see this:

And then a couple days later... we saw THIS:

I didn't even know it was POSSIBLE to get a finger-in-the-shot picture with a camera phone... but I did. It's probably because I was standing on a giant nest of fire ants. Those things gotta go before we move in.

 And then a few days after that... we saw THIS!

So we're pretty excited. :) The builder told us to be patient, because the way he orders things requires some down time in between building. We'll see a lot of progress one week, then it'll sit there with no change for another week or so while they wait for something to be shipped in. So right now, we're waiting for the trusses. I've never been this excited for Halloween to come in my entire life! I keep reminding myself to be patient, because progress is progress (and in this case, it gets me a house)!
